Our Anaesthesiology team provides expert care before, during, and after surgery. Beyond anaesthesia, they specialize in pain management, resuscitation, and intensive care.

Serving as a key link between patients and surgeons, the department supports a wide range of elective and emergency surgeries. Skilled anaesthetists are available 24/7 to ensure safe and effective care at all times.

Services Offered

Assessment, consultation, and preparation of patients for anaesthesia
Relief and prevention of pain during and after surgical, obstetric, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures using:
- Sedation/analgesia
- General anaesthesia
- Regional anaesthesia
Diagnosis and treatment of acute pain (excluding chronic pain management)
Peripheral nerve blocks
Central line insertion
Monitoring and maintenance of normal physiology during the perioperative period
Evaluation of respiratory function and application of respiratory therapy
Management of critically ill patients
Clinical management and teaching of cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation
Prevention, recognition, and management of local anaesthetic overdose, including airway management and resuscitation
Recognition and management of side effects and complications from pharmacologic pain therapies
Supervision and evaluation of medical and paramedical staff involved in perioperative care
Ordering of respiratory and rehabilitation services
Performing history and physical examinations
